Our core principle

Brethof Voice Pro processes all audio locally on your device. Your voice never leaves your computer. We built this product specifically so your spoken words remain private.

What we collect

When you create an account or purchase a license, we collect:

• Account information — email address, name, and hashed password
• License data — license key, purchase date, device activations (a one-way hash of your machine, not hardware details)
• Payment information — processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card number.

What we do NOT collect

• Your voice recordings
• Your transcriptions
• Your training data (stored locally only)
• Microphone audio or screen content
• Browsing habits, keystrokes, or app usage analytics

How we use your data

• To manage your license and device activations
• To provide software updates
• To send transactional emails (password reset, license delivery)
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Voice training

If you train the app on your own voice, that training data stays on your device. There is no way to send it to us and no option that would: the feature does not exist in the software you are running.

Website analytics

For visitor statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, cannot follow you between sites, and reports only aggregate figures such as page views and country.

Affiliate referrals

If you arrive through an affiliate’s link, it carries a code (?aff=) identifying who sent you. We store that code in your browser’s local storage for 30 days so the person who recommended us is credited if you buy, and we pass it to the payment provider at checkout. It is a short code, not an identifier for you: we do not use cookies, device fingerprinting or any third-party tracking script for this, and nothing about your browsing is sent anywhere while you look around. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Data storage and security

Account data is stored on servers located in Europe. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption. We retain your data only as long as your account is active.

Your rights

You can:

• Request a copy of your data
• Update or correct your information
• Delete your account and all associated data
