Frequently asked questions

Buying, downloading, printing, licensing, refunds. If your question isn't here, email [email protected].

Buying & downloading

Every model ships with GLB and OBJ. STEP, FBX, and GLTF are included when the source file supports them — you can see the exact list on the product page, right above the price. One purchase gets you all available formats.

Two ways. Right after payment clears (it's instant), you're redirected to a thank-you page with download links. You also get a receipt email with the same links. The files always stay available in your account — lifetime access, re-download whenever you need.

Yes. The account is what gives you lifetime access to your files. Sign-up takes 30 seconds and asks for email + password. We send a 6-digit code to verify the email is yours. No marketing emails, no newsletters — only receipts and security messages.

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and SEPA Direct Debit. Stripe processes all payments — we never see or store your card details. Currency conversion and any applicable VAT are handled at checkout based on your billing country.

Listed in USD. Stripe converts to your local currency at checkout based on your card's billing address.

Printing

Any modern slicer works: Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, Cura for FDM; Lychee Slicer or Chitubox for resin. We test most models in Bambu Studio and PrusaSlicer. OBJ and STL both import everywhere; the OBJ carries the painted colour and the orientation we tested.

Most models are tested in PLA. Decorative pieces look great in PLA Silk; functional models work better in PETG or ABS. Resin printing also works for any model — just keep an eye on overhangs and add support where needed. Material is your call — the file is the same.

Possibly, but usually it's a slicer setting or printer calibration issue. First, check that the model loads cleanly in your slicer (no red triangles or warnings). Try a small test print with default settings. If you still suspect the file, email [email protected] with a photo and your slicer settings — we'll diagnose it together. Defective files we'll fix or refund per the Refund Policy.

It means we have physically printed this model and confirmed it works on standard FDM hardware. Models without that tag have not been printed by us — they passed mesh checks but might need slicer tweaks for tricky overhangs.

Licensing & usage

Personal: print for yourself, family, friends — non-commercial use only. Commercial: everything Personal allows, plus selling printed copies, using in client work, embedding in commercial products / games / films. Full text and a comparison table on the Licence page.

Only with the Commercial Licence. Personal Licence forbids any sale of physical copies. The Commercial Licence has no quantity cap and no royalties — print and sell as many as you want.

No, and that applies to both licences. Sharing the source files (GLB, OBJ, etc.) is not permitted. Your friend should buy their own copy. You can, however, print a physical copy and give that as a gift — the Personal Licence allows that.

Yes. Buy the Commercial Licence for the same model and your account is recorded under the higher tier. Email us if you want the Personal price credited automatically — we're flexible.

Refunds & problems

Yes, within 14 days of purchase if you have not yet downloaded the files. Once downloaded, refunds are limited to defective or misrepresented files. Full details on the Refund Policy.

Often yes. Email [email protected] with the model name and the format you need. Our render pipeline can re-export to any of: STL, OBJ, GLB, PLY. Less common formats (USDZ, FBX, BLEND) we add when the source allows.

Sometimes. We take on a small number of custom design jobs each month. Email a description (or sketches, photos, references) to [email protected] — if it fits the team's capacity, we'll quote a price and timeline. If not, we'll say so honestly and suggest where else to look.

Yes — through our sister site brethof.eu. Buy the digital model here for the licence, then order a print at brethof.eu. We ship across Europe with FDM and resin options.
