Refund Policy

The short version

1. Why this is different from buying a physical thing

3D model files are digital downloads delivered immediately. Once you have the files on your computer, we can't take them back — the sale is effectively complete the moment you click download. EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16(m), and the Polish Consumer Rights Act) allows sellers to exclude the standard 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content once delivery starts, provided the buyer has agreed.

By completing your purchase you agree that downloading any file starts your access and makes the sale final from that point — this waives the 14-day right of withdrawal for delivered digital content, as EU and Polish law permit.

2. Full refund — before download

If you bought a model and you have not yet downloaded any of its files, you can request a full refund any time within 14 days of the purchase. No reason needed. Just email [email protected] with your order number, and we issue the refund within 5 business days. The money returns to the original payment method — usually 5–10 days depending on your bank.

3. After download — the sale is final

The moment you download any file, the purchase is complete and we do not give refunds. Every product page shows renders, a turntable video and full specs, so you see exactly what you're buying before you pay — there are no surprises to refund.

4. Things we don't refund (after download)

We can't refund based on:

• Print results. 3D printing depends entirely on your printer, slicer, material and settings — thousands of setups, all yours to manage. We sell the model file; we don't guarantee it prints on any given machine and we don't troubleshoot prints. A failed or imperfect print is not a fault in the file.
• Change of mind, duplicate purchase you remembered later, or buyer's remorse.
• The model not fitting a project you didn't describe to us in advance.
• Unauthorised purchases on a shared device or with a shared password (account security is your responsibility).

5. How to request a refund

1. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund request".
2. Include your order number (in the receipt email) and a one-line reason.
3. If it's a defective-file issue, attach a screenshot or describe what your slicer / viewer says.

We reply within 5 business days. If a refund is approved, the money returns to your original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.

6. Print-service customers

For physical printed objects ordered via brethof.eu (our printing service), a different refund policy applies — see brethof.eu's own Refund Policy. Brethofai.com only sells digital model files.

7. Chargebacks and disputes

If you have a problem with a charge, email us first — we resolve nearly everything quickly. Filing a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer before contacting us makes the resolution slower for everyone, and may result in your account being suspended pending the dispute outcome. We always prefer to talk first.

8. Your statutory rights

This Policy does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law. EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
